In a video shared by the BCCI, Mohammed Shami had an open and honest conversation with Umran Malik. During their chat, he shared valuable advice for the upcoming pacers.

Indian team secured an 8-wicket victory against New Zealand in the second ODI at Raipur, with the bowlers leading the way. After the match, Mohammed Shami, named the Player of the Match, had a candid conversation with young pace sensation Umran Malik in a video shared by the BCCI. The two discussed Shami’s performance and he also shared valuable advice for the upcoming pacers.

When asked about maintaining a positive attitude on the field, Shami shared the following advice to Umran Malik: “Smile and stay positive, it’s white ball cricket and everyone will get hit. Believe in yourself, your skills and try to learn from the wicket.

In the video, Shami also offered advice to Malik. He said, “I want to tell you something, you have a lot of potential and a bright future ahead of you. My only advice for you is that your pace is not easy to play against but you need to work on controlling your line and length. If you can control that, you can conquer the world.

With India having secured a 2-0 lead in the 3-match series, there may be some changes made for the final match. Umran, who has yet to be featured in the series, is likely hoping for an opportunity to play in the last game.
